Hey guys, thanks for any replies in advance. I just got into the reefing community as and upgrade from standard rimmed tanks and goldfish for a very long time. I just received my new IM Nuvo 30L and set it up, as I was showing a friend he commented that I can stick a piece of paper under the corners and that there's an inconsistency somewhere on the butcher block top, which when I took a straight edge to it was really pretty much undetectable.. but he was right I can slip a sheet of printer paper in all four corners... I consulted my LFS and he said that the yoga mat I had put underneath it should take out any slack with time that there might be. But I can't help but have curiosity as to if this is going to be a problem with a tank this size in the future or if it is OK. I assume somewhere in the middle of the top it is on there is a tiny bow to the wood, literally the height of a sheet of paper and I just didn't catch it. Now he has me worried my seams will fail or this low iron / more fragile glass will crack... any input would be greatly appreciated.. thank you! I would just like to figure out if I can continue cycling this tank or if I need to tear it down and fix this small inconsistency..
