I like your Zoas Ghostly. I am starting to get hooked on them now…. I am trying to colllect some of the designer ones. My LFS will trade frags for store credit which is nice to put towards something else.
Currently I have:
Utter Chaos
Rainbow Incinerators
Blue-eyed Blonds
Pink Krakatoa
Scrambled eggs.
And a couple others I am not sure of the names.

The start of my Yuma garden!
Nice! I’ve only been in the hobby since end of January… Started with a 13.5 Evo. But I am joying it so much I was quickly thinking of a bigger tank. So in August I started preparing and ordering….
September I started a new tank and I am keeping both going.

The new tank is a Red Sea 300XL.
Here’s a link to a thread I started on it if you want to check it out…

Just got some new pieces! Fts after I fragged up my zoanthid. Favia is on my growout plate and I got a neon green sinularia featuring buddy the mandarin!

Just fed my tank for the 4th time today and buddy seems to like a mixture of foods. I feed these 2 foods because if I just feed copepods they float up. Both foods mixed together and they sink so he can get it

I have no secrets. First time reefing and I'm closing in to 1 year. Throw stuff in and it seems to work out. That being said heres a video of an amphipod digging

Your doing something right.. keep it up

Are you dosing copepods for your mandarin? I want to get one as well but unsure if the pods are enough to feed it unless i train it to eat brine/mysis shrimp

I've been keeping fish for 8 or 9 years and I know my limits. That mandarin is captive bred and I breed extra pods that I dose monthly for it. Along with that, I also feed tigger feast and zooplankton 4 times a day and I feed small pellets once

Training it un this tank wouldn't be enough. You would need to keep lots of pods too

My fluval evo 13.5 tank 11 months in. Survived bryopsis with fluconozol 2 week treatment with minimal issues. No dosing, weekly 5g water changes religiously with Red Sea reef pro salt sometimes bi weekly if the time is there. I’ve stuck to only nano fish 1-2” max with the exception of my clowns which will
Go to my FOWLR tank when/if they get too big but I certainly have a decent amount of nano fish with no issue.

I mostly have LPS and sofies with the exception of 3 SPS frags which I’ve had no issue using an AI Prime besides the fact I am very good at breaking them when I stick my hand in to place corals haha…

Minimal upgrades other than in tank media basket, power head and sicce 1.0 return pump.
