I just got some new Chaetomorpha from what I thought was a reliable source. Would someone please help me identify this hitchhiker? There were quite a few in the bag with the algae.

What are they, and are they good or bad for the tank?

Also if you are worried, you can dip the chaeto in RO water and see what falls out. I did that for some I received and a few bristle worms came out. The algae was perfectly fine. I know people are ok with bristle worms and they may get in the system eventually, but so far I've kept them out. I'd rather not have worms with bristles than can grow huge unchecked.
