Newly Discovered Red Fin Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus sp)

Kinda looks like a flasher fairy hybrid. Supposedly it is a fairy wrasse.

That is a flasher, the body is wrong to be a fairy.
Yes, Paracheilinus is close to Cirrhilabrus but they aren’t that close that they’d hybridise naturally.

This guy is a variation of Paracheilinus rubricaudalis this species is known to have variations however the male in the photo looks to be in display when they took it which makes 100% IDing harder (Most flashers change their fin colouring when in display).

I agree. Not sure why Nyaquatic is selling as a fairy wrasse.
