hi guys it's my first post here
about 2 days ago I bought a favia from my lfs it was really small I put it on the sand bed to show its color then change its place yesterday I fed all my corals with seachem zoo plankton after that I saw my hermit crabs near the favia
they were around it till night
at night I scared and move the hermits away and saw my favias some part was eaten by hermits
my hermits were 2 and I put them in the sump and changed my favias place
they some part of it to the place that it shows its white skeleton
I wanted to know will it come back to life by feeding every 2 days
I will post a pic in time that I go home

all my params are good except kh 12 and calcium 450

Yes, it can grow back. However, it sounds like it was already pretty small and very new to the tank before the crabs snacked on it. So you are fighting an uphill battle, but it can be done. I agree that it should be fed often. Also, I would ensure that it is not receiving too much flow and that the exposed skeleton is not getting any direct flow whatsoever. Favia's are notoriously slow growers so do not expect to see instant progress. Patience will be needed. Good luck!

Its possible the hermits tore up the coral trying to get to the food it was eating, I always try and give them some pellets to keep them busy while I feed the corals other wise shrimp and crabs can hurt the coral trying to pull the food out of it.

thanks for your feedback
I read somewhere someone fed his favia every two days and it comes back
I'm not sure if it's good to feed every 2 days cause I feed my corals 4 ml zooplankton or phyto
once a week and use direct feeding for favia
I wish it came back

First one looks like a favia to me. As for the second one, its hard to tell from the picture, but there is nothing there that makes me 100% believe it is not a faiva. I cannot tell what the white surrounding the coral is though. Again, its hard to tell, but my first thought was that it didnt look healthy.

Well my LFS gave it to me because I've been looking at it it's got the yellowish green inside and the outside is white nobody knows if its bleached if it's dead or what but there still colour on the inside so I was hoping it's alive and maybe just rare or unique

Its more likely bleached. Did they sell it to you or give it to you like that? Or did it lose color later?
