Got two clownfish day before yesterday, they are the first fish in my first tank. They were looking great, eating frozen, hanging out together. This morning one of them is all the way on the other side of the tank and doesn't look well. Not sure what to do. Please help. Trying to attach video but can't. His mouth is opening and closing constantly and quickly and he doesn't look like he's moving well

How long has the tank been set up? What test kits do you use?

Can you get us clearer photos of both fish, close ups? A video of behavior would be helpful too.

It's been set up for almost 5 weeks, using API test kit. I have a video, trying to get it to upload.

I put new power heads in last night, could that have anything to do with it?

Also I have been feeding pellets that LFS says they were eating, they said give 8 pellets total per day and mix in a little frozen every few days. They ignore the pellets so far but last night I melted the frozen in a little tank water and used a dropper to feed them and they both ate.

It could be that it was hurt during the night. Maybe the other fish beat him up.

Regardless of the cause the best thing to do is to put him in fish-ICU.

Basically a mesh box or a collander so he is safe from other fish. And place that somewhere where there is a light flow of water. No deaspots like where he is right now.

Give him some time. Its probably not something in your water if you used RODI.
But once they get to that point the chances are not so good.

How is he breathing? And does he have anything visually different on his body in comparison to the other guy?

Looks totally normal, his mouth is opening and closing quickly, I assume that means breathing quickly?

Yes it can indicate that he is breathing quickly, was he wild caught or tank raised?

Tank raised, the other fish has started going over there by him now. Other fish is still acting normal. I'm hoping it's nothing and maybe still adjusting to new tank and new flow.

Is it the smaller one of the two? Were they a bonded pair when you bought them? If not, the bigger one (female) could be bullying him into submission. Part of the bonding process.

Everyone is looking good now, after I fed some frozen tonight he perked up and they are staying together again. Hopefully it was nothing. I do have a power head pointed up so that's good.

Did you acclimate well? You salinity might have been a little low compared to the source tank.

I think I did, I floated the bag for about 30 min, after the first 10 minutes a started adding small amounts of tank water. They are looking good as of this morning. I don't see them eating the pellets though, they do go after the frozen pretty well, and the shrimp comes over at feeding time too, so cool.
