All along the bottom of the cinder block photos there was a part knocked out of the bottom every few feet. Then later they were patched over. Could someone tell me that was for, curious. Thanks in advance. Great thread OP , thank you for sharing the process with us.

Those cells were poured solid with concrete. The holes were there for inspection.

Thank you and yes being busy is the new normal. we took some time to pick out the right colors and look for everything. I’m hoping to have all the equipment moved to the house by next week. I need to do a few things prior to putting the stand and tank in place. I can’t wait for this build to come together!

So I got about half the shipping container unloaded today and called it quits....had to have some relax time. The two 95 gallon water tanks are in the garage just need to build a base for them, one for salt and one for fresh. All the plumbing and pump is in storage still so nothing further done there. Also need to take the acrylic to my laser guy and have it all cut out so I can build the sump, ato, reactors, etc.

Figured it was time for a chill session at the new house so bottoms up!

Ok so I have been busy with so much other crap that goes on with moving in lol. Been working on getting all the milling spread out for driveway this week. Getting more stuff unpacked and throwing away a lot of stuff we just don’t need! Now tonight i have some free time so I’m going to chip up the floor drain. I’m going to setup the GoPro and try to do a time lapse video.....we will see how it works lol. If nothing else I’ll have pictures. I’m hoping by the weekend I have everything here at the house to start really getting stuff done. Driveway still has some work but it can be driven on now.

So I was a little off on where the drain was.....or it was moved when they poured the slab lol. I did find it but will have a little more work than expected. All holes will be filled with thins set when the tile is out back down. All the holes are only 1”-1 1/2” deep. The top of the cap on the drain is 1” down. I know it looks like swiss cheese now but this is going to be a huge part to the build and very necessary!

As of now I have to notch the tile that is laid for drain to fit through. Then notch the other tile and lay it it back place. Also I need to get a hard measurement of my stand and make sure I stub it up in the correct spot. I’m looking to have the drain come through the bottom on my stand on the front side of the sump. I’m going to make the drain sit flush with floor of the stand so any spills will drain through it. The bottom of the stand has a 1” lip all the way around it to hold water it there ever was a spill. Now there is a place for it to go!
