It was amazing reading through the whole thread and seeing all the progress you have made. Soon you will be in the house and the fun of starting the tank will begin.

Thank you sir, coming from you it makes me proud. It was and will be an amazing journey. I cannot wait to start working on the tank. It will be a great accomplishment to finally get water circulating in the tank.

Awesome build and nice house, this is exactly what the wife and I would love to have. Look forward to seeing the rest of your build.

Thanks ya I can’t wait. I’m super stoked on the floor drain! No more dragging water around the house!
I had an inwall setup similar to yours years ago with a floor drain and utility sink and separate exhaust fan, it was really nice and easy to care for. But I got out of the hobby and now its a large storage area, my new tank setup is really simple but I will miss the easy of the fish room.

These guys are killing it! About 2/3 of the house is tiled. But the best part is the fish room. The tile guy put down a false tile where the drain is. There is no thin set under it so I can just lift it up and chip up the drain pipe. He set it to look as if it is complete so not to throw any red flags for inspector. If you look close in the pic there is an “x” in pencil. I’m super stoked about this build!!!!

A/C was installed, floor tile completed, bathroom tile started, main underground power lines and transformer installed (house will have power when inspection complete), cabinets should be going in tomorrow, then countertops measured/ cut/ installed (hope by end of week or beginning of next). I’ll be working on grading land and getting sod laid. Can’t wait!!!!!!!

Very nice build so far, the house is beautiful! Following along.

You mentioned a barn for livestock, what type of animals will you keep?

Gotcha, I love goats...especially babies. If I had the space, I'd definitely have a couple. I have a horse, but I board him since my yard is less than half an acre lol... I'm definitely jealous of your property!
