I received some Live Rock from the gulf today and will probably post in this thread as I discover new things. One of the first things I've seen are these snails would like to know what they are and if they're safe for the reef. I found a brittle star and put him in the main tank there is also a huge mollusk but made another thread for him.

Here is the snail in question there are at least 2 seen so far.

That first one is most definitely Aiptasia with is to be expected.

The second one (below the tube) I am not sure of. Could be something cool.

It is to be expected but aren't the aiptasia from the gulf of Mexico different from the indo pacific ones we usually get in our tanks?
