Hmm, still a little hard to determine for 9. but judging from the shape its frag, it looks like a encrusting sps. Unless if you could lift the coral up and take a pic of it close to the surface, I can’t say for sure. Still most probably a stylocoeniella or bernardpora as the polyps look a little too big to be a porites or monti.
thanks! I'll get a better pic next time I turn flow off.

Looks like either micro favia or favites coral but hard to tell with heavy blue lighting

I agree the polyps look a bit small. Will look into bernardpora. Thanks!

Whatever it is, it isn't doing well. Trying to save it before it's a goner. Everything else is thriving.
Sorry to hear that, have you tried feeding it? The fact that it is only this coral that is going downhill is making me suspect this is one of the flowerpots rather than a favia or favites.

Thanks so much! Now to figure out how to make it a little happier. :)
Get it away from sand which will irritate it. Moderate light and water flow
Temp 77/79
Salinity 1.025

I think I've figured it out.... I came across these photos today, and they're identical to this mystery frag. I assumed LPS, but I think the store shipped me a sand dollar porites...

If that's the case, I now understand why it hasn't been thriving. It's starving for light.
