Mantis showed up a little over 1.5 weeks ago. So far, he is shy, hiding in his tube and only coming out in the evening to grab whatever food can get. I have placed a handful of live, free range, food in the tank and drop a clam on the half shell in about every 3 days. I was wondering how he was doing; I haven't seen him in a week. Then, this morning, I came in to see his first molt! Hopefully this is a good sign. I'll keep posting. Pardon the photo color. I haven't figured out my iPhone settings for aquarium pics.
