I've had the Naso in the 5gal tank since yesterday.
I have not treated him with any meds yet.

Please advise on which regiment t should do first.

I really want to start treatment tomorrow.

I would treat with the Metroplex first based on the mucus and lack of feeding. General Cure would be a better choice since it is metro and prazi in one medication. I really do not see clear signs of any bacterial or fungal diseases.

Thank you,

Unfortunately, he passed last night.

These spots were where I thought I was seeing a bacterial infection.

What do you think?

Those spots are pretty superficial and may just be bruises.
Sorry the fish died, I often give dead fish a 10 minute FW dip to look for flukes, as that can tell me more about what needs to be done in the tank it came from.

Thanks Jay

I have had bad luck with Nasos in the past.
Years ago I had one that lived in my tank for about 3 years until the tank got velvet.
Since then, medium to large Nasos go on hunger strikes and die and smaller Nasos go like this little fella did.

I have not tried to keep a Naso in years for this reason but I really want one.
They have such great personalities!

This is what I see after he died.
