Very very nice!! Are those 60s or 40s on the back wall? I’ve seen you’ve had your powerheads in all different positions, which do you seem to like best?

They're 40s. I've been playing with flow A LOT lately. I originally had too much flow flow my coral needs, with two 60s and two 40s. I dropped one of the 60s, and then the other, and then started moving the 40s around.

Right now, I think what I have is perfect for softies/LPS. It's definitely not enough for SPS, but ultimately, the aesthetics of having them on the back wall and the flow it puts out seems right for my current wants/needs. I also swapped the returns from locline wide nozzles back to the redsea y splitters, and cranked up the return pumps to 55%. They were at 40%.

I cant guarantee I'll keep it the way it is, but the corals seem happy for now. I'll give it a few weeks.

Yup, two MP40's @ 55% reef crest and 2x Sicce SDC 9.0 (one per return) @ 50% each.

Check some of the FTS shots above, you can see them. I basically tried to halve the distance between the overflow weir and the sides of the tank, then I moved them up as much as possible before they began siphoning air.

The Redsea Y-splitters are aimed such that one side points towards the front of the tank and the other at the back wall and down. Same for each side.

You have had no problems with the mp40s sticking to your glass and not falling off? Especially on the back glass, I heard my40s would not stick to the back glass of my waterbox which is 3/4. How thick is your glass?

No issues at all, of course I have the cable ziptied near the motor just in case it were to happen... I found this from a quick search and it seems to indicate that 3/4" is the maximum for the MP40... "Note: 3/4” thick aquariums do not use the pin spacer at all"
