Looks great! I have a PM 15 and wondering how you like the powerhead in that location? Most, including me, have it on the false wall blowing out. I'm interesting in experimenting w/ the flow pattern so wondering if the flow perpendicular to the return is better.

Also, I have the Kraken cup mentioned by @Hasted earlier. I like it. I only use it for filter floss on occasions. Fits like a glove. Can also be used to stack other filtration options too.
So I’m really not sure about that spot. I put it there for cabling and maintenance purposes. The Nero 3 is a great pump. I originally ran it on random at with a range of 20%-55% power but I thought the fish didn’t like it. So I switched to continuous flow and keep it at 55%. The tang lives to swim against the flow and I think the tank gets decent flow. Against the back wall might be a good idea. I have even seen some in the front. Also been considering getting a separate to point in the opposite direction but closer to the front and lower.

When do y’all think I should place the Nero 3 and what schedules do y’all use for your tanks?
Ideas ideas? I want to give my finger corral a nice amount of flow he hasn’t been opening up his pores lately. Even after 5 gallons of reef crystal water was added some ice been awhile worried. Maybe he’s too close to the light? The corral Jan a Green finger leather form WWC in Orlando. Coloration appears normal. I have not added any reef nutrients. I’m considering the sea chem reef nutrients but the Red Sea nutrients have been recommended to me as well. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone.

Picked up some upgrades today. And a flat piece of CaribSea liferock to put on the floor of the tank in the front or against the back wall possibly

New Sicce 1.0 is installed and working perfectly, I couldn’t have imagined it would be so quiet, looks like I got a good batch. Also I was very careful during installation to ensure it did not touch the walls.

Also added this CaribSea shelf piece (i think) dry rock on the sand below in the front of the tank. It goes more into the arch than I would like. Will probably break with a hammer and Chisel for a more rectangular or trapezoid shape. My intent was to make a island for corals that spread quickly. Or put a nice big torch on it. If y’all have any ideas, I would love to know. Thank you.

Saw a few comments on the lids - try having low iron glass custom cut! It keeps the clean look and the fish inside too

Thank you. What do you think about the small shelf rock on the sand in the rock, I might break it for more islands. Tbh, there are a lot of rocks the blue tang likes to hid in at night. So far the fish are thriving. I can’t get them to eat seaweed on a clip tho.

Recently got this tank from a buddy. 54 gallon corner tank. I’d love to keep it but my significant other not so much. What do you think it’s worth in trade to my LFS? I’d love to get like a hammer torch or some frags for my mini penn 25. Thank you for all suggestions.
Also I don’t might keeping this tank. May have to hang lights from ceiling so that’s a concern.

More islands might work. I would suggest upgrading to that 54 gallon you've got. Your blue tang is going to quickly outgrow that 25 gallon and the 54 would let you keep him longer (although he'll outgrow that as well).
