So I set up a saltwater tank on 7/3 and so far I already have 20 fish in there and didn't let the tank cycle properly so I have ammonia and nitrite spikes and my coral beauty died yesterday so far no more have died or shown any signs of weakness but I'm looking for any tips because I tried doing about a 50% water change and it looks like the ammonia and nitrite levels are still high, but Im real worried about the fish I feel bad for putting them in there so soon but I wanna give them the best chance i can so any tips will help

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do other than remove the fish and let the initial cycle complete properly. You can use something like Prime to render the ammonia harmless but to be honest I have never used it during a cycle so I don't know if that will affect anything long-term or not.

Welcome to R2R!

Your tank has been cycling for the last 20 days. Are you testing water parameters everyday? Have ammonia and nitrites peaked?
