@fishguy242 Thank you! Just copying & learning from all of you guys ;) @WIReefer will be helping me get it all going in a few weeks! Then I'll be transferring just about everything from my 45 but the sand :)

The 75g sump is coming along! Just playing around with the roller mat and skimmer to see how they will fit. Got the majority of the plumbing run into the fish room as well. I will attempt to get the rest of it to atleast underneath the DT tomorrow. Happy Saturday All :)

So far I am super impressed with the ClariSea! Granted it’s only been a week, but my sump is still just as clean as day one. Right now I’ve got the little bypass flapper open... I my try closing it to see how it affects the flow/usage. I could hear it advancing the mat pretty often at the beginning, but now it’s much less. Looks like this first roll will last a few weeks!

What is your skimmer sitting on?
Just a thought, but you could probably stack a couple Marine Pure bricks and put your skimmer on it. That’ll add a ton of biological surface area. Put that space to good use!

@benapilot That's great to hear about the clarisea. I have high hopes for it. The skimmer is just sitting on a foam cooler just to see how they would fit in there, nothing is set for it to run yet. That is an awesome idea with the marine pure bricks, I am definitely going to do that :)

@WIReefer Well, we got the tank inside and on the stand! Sorry for the poor picture, quite the glare/reflection this morning. I also ordered a custom lid for the tank & a DOS for my mixing station & automatic water changes. Hoping to get all of my plumbing done this week as well :)

Well my "battery backup" arrived yesterday! Jk, it's a small gas generator that was on sale. Figure it should be sufficient to keep the majority of the tank going in case of power failure. If not, atleast my son likes it ;) More to come soon

My dos arrived today! I'll be using this along with my mixing station for automatic water changes. Nearly done with my plumbing, just waiting on some gate valves. Very excited :)

Still waiting for my gate valves from brs so I decided to make a control board. After looking online and seeing prices I decided to look around the property and make one. I ended up using an old board in our garage and leftover exterior paint from our house. Going to be mounting a few other controllers, another dos & cord grommets for the holes, but so far so good. Especially for free :)
