I have two different snails that appeared in my aquarium after adding a wild colony of Scolymia coral. One has a rough black shell and the other looks like it might possibly be a spiny astera? Any thoughts? Thanks!

Pics under white lights help, but maybe collinista snail for the first one, second one appears to be a ninja star snail.

If the star is a snail, star astrea snail. The top one could be a turbo snail of some sort. Or margarita snail depending on size. Margaritas are small compared to most turbos.

All of the species mentioned are safe herbivores.

Thanks! Here is an edited version of the photo. I do have a couple margarita snails in the aquarium so maybe they spawned?

Could be, for id requests, you’ll have better luck if you shut off the blues and take pics under white lights. This pic might be worse than the first, it took me a bit just to find the snail.
