Anybody using these fixtures on a 6 ft tank. I'm wondering if the 61 inch is ok or do you need 2 36 inch fixtures. Thanks

Before I order any brackets anyone wants to trade my kessils ones for the other bracket.
I need the ones to install Radions.

I just put my set together and it was easy to do. Feels sturdier then I thought it would be.
Looks great!!
I just wish the transforms for th t5 wasn't in the fixture. Never a fan of AC over open water but what you going to do.

At least this will let those of us with Mitras LX7's to mount them to the LED brackets instead of laying them on top. We would need 1 more inch to be able to mount them length wise. Maybe some day....

We do have LED brackets and End plates that will work. It pushes the fixture to around 19.5” but the Mithras will fit, since they are a little wider.

I can check who has stock Monday. We may have a few, plus I think Reefbreeders has them too for their fixtures.

+1 on this. With the widening kit you can mount the Mitras lengthwise. Don't feel like you need this kit though. The Mitras fixtures sit on the opening very well with the original kit.
If you want your Mitras running front to back then you can't mount them on the fixture.

The fixture does not include the T5 lamps, so that the customer can purchase to their requirements.

The T5 lamps are open to the aquarium without a lens cover. We did this to eliminate the need for fans and transformers and eliminate the heat in the housing. The silicon sockets used in the fixture are moisture proof and will not be a problem.

The weight of the fixture for the 48" without lamps and LED is less then 15 pounds.

The width of the fixture is 18" wide, 1.6" tall and 47.5" long without the decorative covers installed.
