Hello i have my tank running now for two months and just put in first couple snails and one clownfish Its a 13.5 gallon fluval.

ammonia 0
nitrite 0
Nitrates 5-10 ppm
Ph 8.6
Alk 7.1
Sg 1.027
My PH started at 8.3 and has slowly went up to 8.6 is that normal for the first two months?
Second question is i did a water change last week and tested Alk was at 8.1 so i tested everyday and it has been going down .2dkh a day. Is this normal? And as of right now should i try keeping it balanced between water changes just to get use to balancing the tank or do i just do water changes weekly and not worry so much about the decrease?
Thanks so many more questions are on the way sorry in advance

Josh
