Hi! Finally broke down and got my first aquarium at 16.
Info:
-Fluval evo 13.5
-everything stock
-aqueon 50w preset heater in intake
-cheap Amazon digital thermometer
-live sand
-live rock
-Salinity 1.021(.5), Temp- 80.2 (rodi water)
Stock
-2 ocellaris clowns
-2 nassareus snails
I started it maybe two weeks ago with just live sand, added turbo start and added fish on Thursday. One fish passed two days later from what seemed to be a swim bladder issue. Today, Saturday, I added the new clown and snails. Will change water next weekend. Trying to stay on a budget so what’s my next move to upgrade? Next fish? New CUC additions etc? Corals? Also looking for a scraper to clean the stuff off the glass. All feedback welcome.

The APIs are notorious for almost never reading a true Zero (0), so I wouldn't chase it too much. I bet if you drop a SeaChem Amonia Badge in there, you will get a Zero right now. Best wishes for a successful tank! :)
