Hi! This is my second salt water tank. I'm upgrading from a 10 gallon to a 36 because that's what my space allows. I'm trying to figure out the best stocking for this tank. I currently have 2 occi clownfish And the end goal is to eventually get an anemone in maybe a year. This is my plan and I'm wondering if it's balanced.

Fish:
Two Ocellaris Clownfish
1 Royal Gramma
1 Firefish Goby
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
3 Blue-Green Chromis
1 Anemone (like a Bubble Tip Anemone)

Clean-Up Crew:
5 Nassarius Snails
5 Cerith Snails
5 Trochus Snails
3-5 Scarlet Hermit Crabs
1 Cleaner Shrimp
1 Pistol shrimp for goby!

I think the list is okay it's pretty full with that size tank on your above list

However I would get 1 or 0 scarlet hermits. They can get pretty big and become opportunistic eaters. I had one kill a conch and alot of my snails but biggest reason is size

I would do just one chromis. Unless you’re feeding 3+ times a day you will end up with just one eventually

I am in agreement with regard to the Chromis, you might end up with one. I like Yellow Tail Damsels, they can stand up to clowns and the Royal Gramma.

Chromis are infamous for being tough in a smaller tank. I would go with one or two smaller chrysiptera damsels instead of three damsels. A springers and talbots are both small, colorful, and fairly peaceful.
