Not much happening since the last update. Got a few more corals. Had a bad experience with some green chromis. A bit of algae here, there and everywhere as expected.

Finally added a back to the tank. Black fabric on a pvc pipe. Looks good and I can remove it whenever. Some horrible pics for everyone. Everything looks washed out here. I only have the viparspectra at 1-2% white and blue at 42%. Looks good irl but the iPhone pics even with filters leaves a bit to be desired.

Found an old picture of my previous tank. This is circa 2006. Iirc, it crashed a year or two later. Current tank looks like a barren wasteland relatively speaking.

Added an octospawn, torch and hammer plus my zoas are still growing.

Anyone have any idea what the sps is? It came on a rock i for from my lfs that had some palys and I was using to seed the tank? Excuse the horrible pics.

Again, excuse the crayon colors. Between the blue lights, my phone and filters it’s a bit of a show.

Do have a question. The octospawn is nice and huge. The torch doing good too. The hammer in between is a little underwhelming. Maybe because it’s just small but it doesn’t move around at all. I’m thinking it needs more water movement or to go a little high. Not sure.

Thoughts?

Hammer doesn’t need much flow but that need to be random. If you find a place every so ofte gets a little blow it will thrive. Yous is small too don’t expect much of a swaying from it.
