Hey everyone. I have always wanted to have a saltwater tank. I traveled too much to maintain it until this past year. So in March of this year I jumped in with both feet. Thankfully I had some money put back to get started! :)

So about my tank. I have a 125 gal mixed reef tank. It is 6 ft long. I m running Kessil 360W LEDs (3) plus 2 Coralife T-5s 36”. My sump is a Skimz UB39. Skimmer is Skimz Omega 150. I’m running the newer Apex with 2 wavemaker powerheads. Also added 2 koralia 1650s on back wall.

Fish: 2 clowns, firefish, Fiji damsel, Blue damsel, cardinal, and a blue dotted goby.

Corals: Green hammer, short tentacle torch, birds nest, zoanthids, goniopora, 2 plate corals, leather, acan Lord, and new acro. Most are small frags

Running a refuge with Chaeto as well and dosing BRS 2-part.

I also have a small 29 gal QT tank that I used to qt all fish before adding.

Not sure if this is what we are supposed to do here but have been reading tons of your posts and appreciate all the learnings I’ve picked up so far. Looking forward to participating and helping others as well as I get more experience.

Welcome to R2R and thanks for signing up. I would suggest starting a build thread to share all the details about your tank and to share your pictures. It's a great way to track your progress and eventually look back to where you started. There is a link under my signature.
