Hi everyone!!! I got my first marine tank which is Red Sea max e260 hydra led. Started on 5.1.17 to cycle got 40 lb of live sand( ocean aragonite) and a 3kg piece of live rock from lfs and I noticed yesterday tiny things on the rock looks like corals but I don’t know. Plus need some help, when cycled what do I add first? Inverts? Fish? Or corals. Thank you in advance.

If it was live rock it could have pests that could be potentially harmful to future corals and fish do some research to find out exactly what is in the rock you might want it out of your system

After you cycle is a great time to add your CUC as most new reefs with go threw a algae and Dino bloom the all these guys will help eat it up don't forget to mix them up. Also you want to wait for your beneficial bacteria to build up before adding to many fish I would start with one or 2 small fish a week or 2 after cuc and then make sure your perameters are stable then add corals you can add corals first if you perameters are stable. Stability is key to success.
What size tank and what are you stocking plans?
