Tank up and running, slowly working on cable management. Still need to mount lights. Two clowns and a skunk cleaner shrimp added about a week ago... doing well. Haven't done much testing yet but salinity stable at 1.025 using Milwaukee digital.

Hmmm when to turn lights on... I guess I will be patient and wait for my next livestock arrival which includes quarantined CUC (snail variety and only like 25 total or so given light bioload/immature tank).

Full on ugly stage... hair algae and cyano... trying to watch my feeding, had a few urchins, just added white tail bristle tooth and have started up the refugium. Hoping to power through the ugly!

Has been awhile and a lot has happened...the white tail bristle tooth brought with it disease (velvet?) and all but 3 fish died within a few days. I bought all fish from an online vendor that quarantines and conditions all their fish (I'll just say he is reputable). Then it took a long time to catch these fish which I finally did then went fallow for 45 days. To his credit the online vendor replaced all fish that were lost. Tank is looking better now that I have more herbivores present and a little better coraline algae coverage.
