I have had smaller Nano tanks but have finally decided I want my dream tank. I recently decided after saving my pennies to have custom reef tank built Dimensions are 34"X34" squared with an island overflow and 48" tall with a custom sump looking to get that par value to the bottom with 4 generation 5 Radion XR 30 pros.

Ok sorry havent been on in a while been living off of take out food for a week as our kitchen is overrun with people on a daily basis! Not that we care as its awesome not to cook and even more awesome to have my dream tank being installed! so We have done a tap water flush and leak down test, everything is tight no seams are leaking on the tank or bulkheads!

Right now we are filling with RO/DI water my 6 part system is rated at 100GPD so needless to say filling 200Gallons and a sump is like watching paint dry... Dribble.... Dribble.... Dribble... Most of the plumbing is done and tomorrow we will add salt, sand, Bacteria starter and start cycling while they install the rest of the automation. I have completed the Light canopy that will house the 4 new Radion XR30 Pros Im as excited as a kid counting the days till Disneyland right now!

Someone stole my word: "SWEET!" Really one of the most interesting R2R builds I have seen. :D
Thank you I wanted to be able to do mixed with SPS on top and be able to have a 360 degree view with no wires or power heads on the glass I have two 3oo gyres tucked into the rock work.

Ok seems like the weekends are the only time I have had lately to update this post. we finaly added sand salt and Fritzzyme turbo start 900 this has to be the ugliest part of starting a tank. My wife came home from our office and said OMG what is wrong with it? LOl. I had to have some fun at her expense, I said well apparently we have to start over again there was a chemical reaction to my insert lol. She was not amused at all as our house has been a consistent construction project since my xmas gift to myself last year.

So we are working now on the 2nd most expensive box of goodies the Neptune Systems APEX dream Bundle. The most expensive other box is my 4 new G5 Radion XR 30 pros which I have a police tape line around in our guest room. We are trying to lay out some of these components on the controll board. I will then cut a prety white plexiglass cover to hide all the wires that dont tuck behind the wire cut outs.

One quick issue was that we are having to do a little more post plumbing. The dream bundle came with a flow meter from neptune we forgot about. Lots of boxes ATO, Dosing, Auto feeders, leak detection, probes, powerblocks, Batery Back ups, Break out Boxes, and the list goes on and on. I asked the installers if I could hook a coffee maker to it and make the whole house a smart house, they said no. I have been reached out to by a few of you about my DIY on the Insert I will post a thread about That soon I am not ignoring you guys but your first right after me.

To be continued.........
