Hi everyone. My name is Johnny. I am new to the hobby. I just work all the time so this has been a new outlet for me. I actually find the biology and science behind everything very interesting. I will always try my best to do research and find answers on my own but I am sure I will reach out for help within the community. I started in 12/17/21, here is a recent picture of my tank so far as of 1/19/22. My friend had given me his RSM130D all in one. I upgraded skimmer to Tunze 9001 and lighting to Steves LEDs. The tank is cycled and all parameters look good.

So far I have 2xSnowflake clowns, Exquisite Fairy Wrasse, Six Line Wrasse, Lawnmower Blenny, Pajama Cardinal, Spotted Hawkfish.

I know patience is very important and routine upkeep. I try to test regularly and also observe my tank everynight a bit as I enjoy a drink or two to unwind. It’s a lot of work and alot of information taking in but it’s been fun. If I can succeed in maintaining it for a year I will venture out to upgrade to a larger tank maybe 150gallons.

Any advice or critique is also much appreciated. Thank you!

Welcome to the salty side and the community! Nice looking tank so far. Feel free to ask all the questions you need to if researching doesn't answer your questions. Sometimes we need to ask a question in a way that gets us an answer that makes the pieces click. :)

Hi Johnny and Welcome! Glad you joined. GREAT LOOKING TANK!!!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
