New to the salty side of things

Hi guys and girls I have a few questions some may be silly and some may of been answered many times so I’m sorry.
so my questions are.

Iv just purchased a 230l tank ( 60 gallons)
I plan on running a 70l sump ( 10 gallons)
So total of 300l ( 70 gallons)
I read somewhere I need a pump in range of 6-10 so Iv gone 2500lph (8.33)

I am assuming this is the pump that pumps from the sump to the main tank?
If so I’m assuming this is a pump that goes in the sump it’s self?
or is this an external pump with filter?
or do I somehow need both?
What size skimmer would I need?
What media is best to use in the sump
and last of all
Power heads how many would you suggest and what size?
again I’m sorry that all this has been covered before.
many help and advice would be much appreciated

Yes the pump will go in the sump and return water to the display tank. You don’t need two return pumps. I would get a skimmer rated for at least 75 gallons (never hurts to go a little larger). And for powerheads/wavemakers, I recommend at least 50x DT volume for a mixed reef (much higher if sps dominant), so you’d want a total of at least 3000gph (this includes your return pump). I have a mixed reef with a total turnover of around 70x and I still don’t think it’s quite enough, but the layout of your rock work can make you need more or less than the recommendation.

For an Internal wavemaker, liking the Red Sea ReefWaves, their Reefbeat app is super nice.

For down the road, dosing:
After you put in sand and live rock that will not be the water volume that you're holding.

So when it's time to dose calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium, dose on the low side until you find out how many liters that you are really are holding.
