Question - why are the golds cheaper than the blues? Is blue in higher demand due to being brighter or something similar?

The farm produces more gold than blue and my cost is about 3 times more on blues.

Sorry my pictures are amateur but they do show the PEA clams I got a month ago and the colors are very nice and as advertised in the original sale. Thank you Pacific East Aquaculture. Very happy customer, again.

Here is my Blue Maxima - clam 20 from the sale a couple months back. I think Pac East had a great deal on the larger ones and it has grown since. My first clam and I'm pretty pleased to say the least. I'd like to think I'm treating it well. The gold is one I picked up during the last sale on this page. It has finally settled in and I'm not waking up in the morning finding it on its side. Not sure it it was its own accord or my urchin. I don't remember the Golds number because I mixed it up a few times... The video I took looked a lot better and not blurry. Sorry for crummy images.

I'm really happy with them. It will be interesting to see how the Matted Filefish I move over in a week or two treats them. I hope with kindness.
