Created my first build thread on 1/17/2016 on a high note and very quickly things went bad!

You can read my journey here .... https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/newbie-obsessed-with-her-coralife-biocube-29.230758/

***Will also be setting up a QT!!!

I would like to thank @Humblefish for answering my endless questions and his support during everything.

Right after I lost my tank I searched through the members here on R2R hoping to find someone who might be close to me that wouldn't mind me asking questions and that could maybe provide me some trusted local resources for fish and supplies.

Well, sure enough the R2R community didn't let me down! A wonderful member by the name of Eric aka @ReeferEric (In my house, Eric is referred to as 'Mommy's fish boyfriend' LOL!)

I reached out to Eric on a Sunday and by Friday I was at his house; he showed me his tanks (WOW are they beautiful!!!) and then answered all my questions that I had about what had happened to my fish the first time and what I needed to make sure that it didn't happen again (well at least if something did happen ... at least this time I knew I did everything I could to make things right and not make all the newbie mistakes I did the 1st time).

So after a little break the newbie obsessed with her biocube is back and ready to try again ...

    Tank Info:
    Coralife BioCube 29
Chamber One: AquaticLife Internal Mini Protein Skimmer 115
    Chamber Two: InTank Media Rack
    Chamber Three: Stock Pump
    Hydor Koralia Circulation Pump

So far the following has been done ...with TONS of help from my 'Fish Boyfriend'

    Rockscape Constructed
Rockscape broken down and acid washed
    Rockscape tossed in Eric's Sump
AquaticLife Internal Mini Protein Skimmer 115 installed in chamber 1

Rockscape has been in Eric's sump for about 3 weeks, have about anther week to go.

Congrats, @helen! I am new here but I was reading your previous thread and I'm so sorry all that happened. I will be eagerly following along on your new journey! (I also have a BioCube but I'm too intimidated to have set it up yet!)

Hi! Thank You! I still come in the door and see the empty stand and think about them, they were my babies!
Yes, very intimidating especially after you have lost a tank, I debated about just packing it all up and putting in garage and quitting!
Have spent the last 6 weeks; reading and aggravating the 'Fish Boyfriend' ... he has been amazing!!! ;)

Glad to see you're gonna give it another shot! :) We all go thru little bumps in the road when we first start out. But you'll get better at it and more comfortable the longer you do it. And the best part about this hobby is you never get it all figured out, there's always something new to learn. ;)

Some mistakes leads to greater inspiration. As a owner of a 29 Biocube please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Ime that skimmer is one of the best for that tank. Still using one on mine. Glad you stuck with it.

Here's my biocube. Minus the hood. Its the only way I could make this tank work long term.
Now it's growing sps like weeds.
