What ATO did you get? I need one.

This the one I got .... Tunze Osmolator nano 3152

I also bought the matching bucket ;)

Tunze Osmolator Storage Container 27L (which according to 'fish boyfriend' @ReeferEric was a total waste and could have gotten at the HD for a lot less :p!!!!)

I took the back lid off and cut egg crate to fit. Sprayed it black with that Krylon plastic paint. Zip tied the Amazon muffin fan to the egg crate and zip tied the egg crate to the lid. I did cut out for my protein skimmer (Aqualife 115). I added a Tunze Nano ato. I loose about a gallon a day. I dose 1/8 t of kalk in each gallon of top off water.

If you don't want to upgrade the lights, I recommend this method.
Yeah, I notice afterwards that you had taken just the back door piece off!
Nice job on the egg crate thingy ... looks perfect!!

Hello Helen and welcome back to reefing. I too have a BC29 and have loved it so far - it's a great introductory tank with enough space in it to really test out some more advanced reefing needs like skimmers, a fuge, ATO, and dosing. For an RO/DI, I'd recommend going to Amazon and looking at the Aquatic Life RO Buddie. For the small size of the BC29, it will provide enough RO water. The unit is simple to attach, highly rated, and decently priced. You'll need to add in the DI cartridge for it also though.
If you are going to look at corals eventually, be sure to think about your lighting first. The power compacts (PCs) in these are okay for some basics, but you should really look at an LED setup eventually. There are options for LEDs that hang above the tank (once you remove the hood) and some DYI mods for adding LEDs into the hood if you like the look of your hood. I personally prefer a closed tank for right now because I have little kids - so the LED mod that I did kept my hood on and has given me better control of the temps - I stay right at 78.5-79.

Will check out the Aquatic Life RODI tonight, been doing some looking around and right now I have these 2 on the short list: Buckeye Hydro Premium RODI System & SpectraPure 5-Stage 90-GPD RODI System with Double-DI.

Will also check out your build thread tonight after work. ;)

While I patiently wait for my saltwater tank ... decided to upgrade my freshwater tanks.

Current tanks sit on my kitchen counter ...

Going for a more natural look ... getting rid of that nasty red rock in both tanks in the process!

Moving 4 fish from a 5g to a 15g column tank
Moving Beta from his 1g to the 5g tank

He is sooo pretty! He was really small when we bought him and has outgrown that tank, main reason for the bigger tank!;)
