Shameful to get all excited about some Diatoms!
The hubby had thought I lost my mind when I found it and started screaming!!!
He came running and down and was like what?
I said look we got Diatoms! He said are we supposed to have that it looks bad!
I said YEP! I had to show him he didn't believe me (http://www.reefedition.com/291/) ... I was like look - Stage 4!

So much movement, little legs sticking out everywhere in the tank since the diatoms showed up ... not sure why ... but love it!!!

Did first water test today

Salt (tested with Milwaukee Instruments Seawater Digital Refractometer): 1.025
Water tested with API basic set, figure since no fish and only CUC might has well try and used it up (have since bought the Salifert kits)

Seriously?!?!?!? For the Love of Goodness!! Wasted almost 45 minutes watching one of the Halloween Hermit deciding whether or not is was going to change his home to one of the new shells and NOPE he didn't do it!!! I kept telling my little one to come to watch after about 10 minutes he tells me ... Mommy please don't yell for me again!! lol!!!

I remember when I added my first cuc watching them change shells was so exiting. I would call my boys over to watch it. Now I couldn't get them to watch anything unless it was a youtube video of someone playing minecraft or some game.

Yeeehawwww ... during my tank check this morning before heading to work I found this ... are they snail eggs? This tank just amazes me (such a difference experience this time around)!!!
