How big is your FOWLR?

Its 90 gallons.

I'm breaking the wife in easy:

Step 1. 10 gallon freshwater tank for my son.
Step 2. 12 gallon reef in the bedroom
Step 3. Oh, wow, $150 for a Oceanic 90.
Step 4. Baby oscar for freshwater tank (will vastly outgrow the 10 gallon.
Step 5. Panther Grouper, trigger, angel, and puffer in 90 gallon.
Step 6. Fish grow for...a few years perhaps?
Step 7. 90 gallon turns into oscar tank and larger tank replaces 90 gallon for FOWLR tank.

I am currently in the midst of step 5.

Good plan! However, the Stars and Stripes will outgrow your 90 pretty quickly. I had one from 92 until 2000 in a 120” x 48” x 36” FOWLR. Got to be about 17” and FAT! One of my favorites as he’d swim into my hand for belly rubs.
