I got the salt added, and I put in an 8”x8”x1” MarinePure plate. I have the plate sitting on top of an acrylic frag rack, and a few pieces of PVC pipe on the bottom of the tank. I hung some carbon to take care of the dust that came off of the plate because I didn’t want to rinse it in tap water due to its porosity and likelihood of containing metals from the tap water. I’ll let it run its course overnight, and then I’ll add some Fritz TurboStart 900 tomorrow morning, if the dust has cleared.

Don’t mind the mess; we are moving, so there’s a lot of junk in this room, and you can see some in the reflection. [emoji52]

That is fantastic. What's his name? And also what's your exact street address and the hours that nobody is home ;) asking for a friend

His name is Mac, and he’s 1.5 years old. My wife found him on Craigslist for a very cheap re-homing fee, so she jumped on him. My mother-in-law has a Goldendoodle, and my sister-in-law has a Labradoodle. Everything is some sort of -doodle now.

You can come by, but he’s usually at daycare while we are at work. It wears him out, and he stays well-socialized.

That's a whole lot of doodles! That must make for some pretty fun play dates!

Well, I woke up, and the water is a little cloudy, but it’s not as cloudy as it would have been by this time before. I’m going to let it go today while I am at work and see how it looks when I get home. [emoji19]

Is this new carbon and a new marine pure plate?

If so could just be some dust from them. Hopefully it clears up as the filter runs today.

Yep, it’s new carbon and a new MarinePure plate. I also threw in some Caribsea BioMagnet to help out. I’m keeping my fingers crossed because I’m ready to cycle the system and get my pair of clowns.

Probably just some dust off the block and carbon. I usually rinse mine out with fresh RODI.

I've got 2 labradoodles. Best dogs ever.

I just picked up two beautiful Misbar Ocellaris today. They are definitely stressed as you can see by their coloring. I saw them at the LFS, and my wife said that she liked them quite a bit. To help make the hobby easier for her to deal with, and to attempt to get her interested in it, I was happy to bring them home.

These two are tiny as well. They are so adorable. They are very dark, so I’m hoping they keep that coloration. I can’t wait to see how tiny they look in my 71g display. Haha
