Got the stand all finished, added some lights and painted and added shelf liner to the top and sump area. Starting to really come together

Also added two support joists to the top portion as the bottom already had some. Probably wasn’t needed since I doubled up the strength of the sides, but was a nice safety addition to make me feel like the stand would hold the weight

So here’s my first aquascape. I would appreciate any ideas that could improve or make it better. Obviously not cemented in yet but will be

Front left portion has been pushed back to create a more realistic swimming scape for the eyes. Really like this setup and the amount of rock

Tank is all loaded on the truck and is almost home. Had to make a stop to pickup the industrial suction cups

Here’s a small example of the silicone work. Looks impeccable to me and I’m very confident with Planet Aquariums and the job they did on this tank.

Good news! I put a hole in the wall the size of my butt [emoji24], not really good news just another annoying delay to work on my build. Good news is I patched it right up and it’s drying now. Tonight I will be getting my sand and Marco-400 to cement together the rocks to create my scape, then it’s off to water making for days!
