I have the or nitrate checker, and several tests I’ve had this issue. I will run a test, and get the blinking 5.00. So I run another test with dilution, and like today I get a reading thats say 4.4 (.44 prior to the x10). I’m using seachem seawater calibration solution to dilute because I’m not sure what else would have a nitrate of zero. I think 3 times now I‘ve gotten the blinking 5 but then get a diluted result below 5.00.

help? Thoughts?

What's the problem? If it's reading 4.4 after dilution then your nitrate is 44. Each dilution dilutes it by a factor of 10

No, it reads .44 after dilution, for a reading of 4.4. i expect it to be above 5, since the non diluted sample flashed 5.
