OK, if you are curing old rock that has lots of dead organism matter on it, then the nitrate could be very high.

Hmm yeah 4 month old rock shouldn’t be too overloaded so hopefully come down soon.

maybe try dosing carbon and bacteria to help your skimmer if you can’t make a dent in it

Indeed, but the fresh saltwater mix test @zero would suggest it works, hence the test.

I just wanted to give you an update. As of 3 days ago my nitrates began to drop and now they are reading a 10ppm.
