Very new to the hobby. Have a tank that is Established. Have LR, three small corals an anenome and two damsels along with a cleaner crew. I tested whater parameters today and PH is 8. Ammonia is 0 and nitrite is 0. My nitrates read closest to 5. It's the stupid drops and on the chart they give you. My question is if I need to be concerned with the nitrate around 5.

No but you need to change that filter out every two weeks at least.

Mine is currently at 15 ppm. Overall my corals look great. Tank has no algae ( I take that back, there's some red hair algae on one of my overflows where sunlight hits it some times)
