I’ll never buy another Copperband Butterfly. I’ve had 3 or 4 over the years and the longest one lasted in my care was 9 months. That’s just a fish that I’m not supposed to have and I’m okay with that.

Diamond Goby… it’s a beautiful and funny fish but mine is too large and it excavates my whole tank, buries corals, will literally pick up frags and throw them on top of his sleeping spot for the night. Requires lots of nutrient control, digging all the sand up.

I love my diamond Goby and forgive all the mess he creates. The final outcome is that he turns the sand and cleans it keeping it pure white and shiny. My regret is my large maroon clown. She literally breaks corals that grow too fast to her liking and does not allow adding any new one without me keeping her away for 40 min till the epoxy hardens enough. She is also associated with at least two carpet surfing incidents.

That is her lurking in the shadow and in front it’s not aquascaping but her doings.

Blue Jaw Trigger -- was reef safe-ish. Knocked over a lot of stuff, agressive eater. However, he started to become an ****** when I cleaned the tank, he would ram my hand and arm constantly. And then one day he jumped out of the water and bit me. He was sold a week later lol.

For me, I like the idea of sand sifting fish, but I hate the mess they make.

I won't own a filefish again, got a taste for softies and never cared for aptasia.

I probably won't own a copperband simply due to how hard they are to care for.

LPS Eating Filefish... Usually misnamed as Aiptaisia eating... By far my most expensive fish ever considering the coral damage done.
