It's been a little over 2yrs of constant reading Reef2Reef posts & driving myself insane. Lol.
This is a 155 gallon bow front (reef ready) aquarium. I wanted to cover the 2 side overflows And use an overflow that took up less real-estate. I then purchased a Modular Marine Overflow and began how to modify my tank So I would be able to use it. I realized that It was going to be pretty risky because of leaking. After relentless searching I found a none drilled tank which I am going to modify. I'm also doing a basement sump. I'm using a 75 gallon tank as a refugium. To make a long story short I had numerous life situations causing me to hold off on my build.
I have the following items prepared for my build:

2 - 250 Gyres
1 - 150 Gyre
1-MP40
1-39 Emerald Trigger (might sell)
1 Reef Hammerhead pump
1 Chiller (can't remember the name)
1 Octopus Reagal 300 INT skimmer
1 Octopus skimmer (I believe 200INT)
Roughly 300lbs mixed rock (Marco, Tongo, Real Reef)
Ceramic rock - $$$ smh. Lol.
Apex controller
Vertex doser with containers
GEO calcium reactor
72" T5's
6 -noopsyche k7 pro ii
Several various pumps, reactors frag racks. etc.

Build thread to follow

Will share on social media in a sec.

Shared on Instagram (@ian_rydquist_tattoos) Here is a pic of my tank (the only one I have at the time) It's been running in this configuration for about 4 months. Was transfered from a 95 gallon that had been up for about 18 months. It's a 75 gallon. dimensions are 48" x 18" x 21" Mixed reef. Eshopps r-100 fuge. Lights are Current USA Pro LED for sunrise and sunset/viewing, and 2 daylight and 2 blue T5's. I just learned about the Noopsyche lights and I think they could replace my entire current light set up. I'd love to win a few!

FOR THE WIN.jpg

This would be awesome for my Very Long awaited upgrade. Starting a from scratch. This build will be using a Red Sea Reefer 250 (pictured- still wrapped on the pallet).
The Noopsyche Lighting would help add to making this the nicest tank in town.
A. 15 yrs in the same tank! (maxed out space)
B. 12" x 18" x 36"27 gal. flat back hex. Running a Penguin hang on back filter and Red Sea Prizm hang on skimmer. (1) Echotech Radion XR30w Gen3

45 gallon JBJ AIO with JBJ Wavemaker (not pictured), Icecap skimmer, Autoaqua Smart ATO and two Hydra 26 HDs. Reef was originally in a 29 gallon Biocube for over three years then upgraded to the 45 about a year ago. Only dose B-Ionic and Red Sea Reef Energy A/B daily and use Red Sea REEF-SPEC carbon in filter boxes.

I have been designing this new build for over 2 years and I am almost in ready to start hard plumbing my 1.5'' drains since I am running one of Synergy 20'' External overflow box. I am going to be running an EcoTech M1 for one return and for my other return I have selected the #ApexCOR20 for my 2nd return pump. Also, for flow inside of the 150 I bought a pair of MP40QWD's and 2 TUNZE Turbelle Nanostream 6055 Controllable pumps which will be installed in the back for any dead spots. As far as my Skimmer, I went with a Reef Octo Regal 150 and I am in the process of ordering an #TurboAquatics Tubro Algae scrubber, L-2 Model and for my Lighting, I went with a pair of @Orphek Atlantik Compact V4 (Gen 2) LED fixtures. My sump just came in Synergy. I bought one of there CL-44 sumps which the craftsmanship is out of this world! Also, Rick over Synergy build me some custom brackets for my L-2 Scrubber that will sit on top of my Sump nice and tight! I should have water flowing in my dream tank in the next few weeks!

SCA 150 Rimless including a 20'' Synergy External Overflow box - specs are the following - 60''x24''x24'' & VidaRocks

As for my Lighting, I went with a pair of @Orphek - Atlantik Compact V4 (Gen 2) LED fixtures w/ there #Orphek Mounting Legs!
