Im wondering if i should hold off on dosing Neo Phos and Neo Nitrate and let the NO3 and PO4 raise naturally?

My water Parameters are as follows after the last day of the 5 day blackout from Dino's.
Alk 9.8
Cal 500 dose 100ml reef pro part a
Mag 1460
Salinity 1.026
Ph 8.2
30 Nov 22
Phosphates 0.02
Nitrates .25

Alk 8.4
Cal 450 dose 70ml reef pro part a
Mag 1500
Salinity 1.026
Ph 8.2
1 Dec 22
Phosphates 0.02
Nitrates .25

Alk 8.4
Cal 450 dose 70ml reef pro part a
Mag 1480
Salinity 1.026
Ph 8.2
2 Dec 22
Phosphates 0.04
Nitrates .25

Im testing with RedSea test kit for everything.

One perspective: achieve your goal of higher nitrate and phosphate right now, exactly like you want versus guess how much add organic material to add to the tank and wait for heterotrophs to convert it to nitrate and phosphate, then buy equipment and chemicals to reduce excess phosphate and/or nitrate generated by heterotrophs and then dose nitrate and phosphate anyway because you still aren’t happy with the levels :)

I'd only say to watch it closely to not let one or both bottom out at 0. Don't want to deal with dinos...

Dose and get those nitrates up. That was the trick for me fighting dinos. Do it slowly...less than the recommended dose and monitor.

Just a word of caution.....

That .02 may very well be 0, and is well within the test kits margin of error. I personally would never run that low, and I would never overfeed the tank to achieve a higher number.

Dosing exactly what I need is a much safer and cleaner way to achieve the goals I'm looking for.
