Ok for all of you with good cameras what settings do you use for taking your photos of corals. I’m starting to get into taken some with my Nikon that I’ve had and want to know what manual settings you use

Ok for all of you with good cameras what settings do you use for taking your photos of corals. I’m starting to get into taken some with my Nikon that I’ve had and want to know what manual settings you use
first thing I'd say is check out the sticky threads in the R2R photo forums. Lots of great stuff there. My biggest suggestions would be
1-shoot straight through glass if possible, shooting at an angle makes for blurry pics
2-I use a macro lens, you can pick them up used on Adorama
3-shoot in RAW format
4-I post process in Adobe lightroom
5-I shoot Canon so not sure of Nikon setting, but I use Aperture priority mode, so I set the F-stop to set the depth of field and everything else is auto.
6-most important, practice,practice, practice
