From everything I see, it’s a purebred and not a hybrid. About the patterns, do you see distinct golden dots?
+1 to this, the photo made it look different but I can definitely see a Goldflake.

I don't have corals tried a few and they thrive for like 2-3 months then just close up (torches) and eventually bail out lemonpeel angelfish is a jerk u can see the goldflake act abit wierd when the lemonpeel goes near him he doesn't bother him now but the goldflake still don't like it

i think my nitrates were 0 so the corals starved might try again some time but don't wanna buy them just to die so i just stuck with fish

when i add a new fish the lemonpeel is worse than the tangs the purple doesn't bother and i put a mirror up for the powder blue but the lemonpeel harasses anything new i put in the tank and mirror trick don't work on it

I have found torches are more finicky coral, maybe try with a Hammer. Or if you feel like you can handle a weed then mushrooms, GSP, Yellow Polyps, Xenia ect…

had a mushroom / frogspawn / torch / lobo all just died
That’s odd, maybe high phos or something spiked?
Only time I have ever been able to kill mushrooms though is through ammonia spiking. Even a temperature of 10-15 degrees C didn’t kill all of them (It took out the most expensive ones obviously).

i had just swapped tanks so maybe my params were all over the place i use red sea coral pro salt but i tested my alk the other day and its at 7 so maybe i need to swap to the blue bucket

might try another torch next month as i have had this tank setup for just over 1 year now dont have diatoms all over the sand anymore
