I think part #9 is installed backwards? Could just be me>
The valve is installed correctly! This is how the BRS ones are.

I just ordered the exact RO membrane from saltwateraquarium.com let’s see if this fixed the issue entirely!:) I’m hoping it gets here tomorrow since the warehouse is in my state and I am able to get packages sometimes quicker than Amazon.

Probably not your membrane. try to bypass your 4 way valve

I did turn off the flow on the valve multiple times and no water. Wait how would I bypass the four way valve?? I’m confused?
Just undo the tubing and connect it directly. eliminate the short bit to your RO membrane.

I suspected the shut off valve aswell. I have an issue with mine not shutting down and bleeding water from waste constantly. Adding a booster buddy solved the problem but I still have 2 units and my house drinking RO i have to manually turn it of and close it every time i need to fill my containers. I am sure your is just a simple fix.

Just throwing this out there in case it pops up in a search. I have a tee before my di resin that supplies RO to a kitchen faucet and our fridge for ice and cold water. My Gal actually thought I installed the unit for her because she hates our tap water lol

Assure the membrane is not in backwards as silly as this may sound

I thought about doing something like this but didnt know it was that easy lol. I had an extra RO Unit so i just hooked it up as a stand alone so i can keep that separate. However, with my smart buddie booster pump (which does shut of the valve) this would actually make alot more sense than doing it the way I am. I just figured id reduce tds creep by doing it my way but i think that only applies when filling my 100 gallons of saltwater every 2 weeks, in which i can easily just run a few gallons before filling the container. Due to my low pressure problems and having to continuously fill containers and worry about that I may just do this eventually.

my setup is pretty annoying especially since we dont drink as much water as the tank needs so I wish i had just thought about this better.

Just a tee before the di resin and then a check valve so the water can't back flow from the pressure tank. We've been running this way for several years.

This is a simple troubleshoot. Starting from the beginning and working towards the issue.

In another thread, there were attempts to get her to run some checks, but she never responded with a confirmation that she even attempted them nor what the results were.

@AydenLincoln was it that the suggestions given to you were unclear? Or were you uncomfortable doing what was suggested?
