No and the same as when I first got it roughly 80 PSi.Are you using a booster pump? What pressures is the gauge showing?
Probably not your membrane. try to bypass your 4 way valveI just ordered the exact RO membrane from saltwateraquarium.com let’s see if this fixed the issue entirely! I’m hoping it gets here tomorrow since the warehouse is in my state and I am able to get packages sometimes quicker than Amazon.
I did turn off the flow on the valve multiple times and no water. Wait how would I bypass the four way valve?? I’m confused?Probably not your membrane. try to bypass your 4 way valve
Just undo the tubing and connect it directly. eliminate the short bit to your RO membrane.I did turn off the flow on the valve multiple times and no water. Wait how would I bypass the four way valve?? I’m confused?
I was thinking the same thing, Thank god it was devonOMG, it was built in 2022 By Devon I at BRS.
And I think the 4 wave valve is backward
Just throwing this out there in case it pops up in a search. I have a tee before my di resin that supplies RO to a kitchen faucet and our fridge for ice and cold water. My Gal actually thought I installed the unit for her because she hates our tap water lolI suspected the shut off valve aswell. I have an issue with mine not shutting down and bleeding water from waste constantly. Adding a booster buddy solved the problem but I still have 2 units and my house drinking RO i have to manually turn it of and close it every time i need to fill my containers. I am sure your is just a simple fix.
My wife hates the taste of tap water also.Just throwing this out there in case it pops up in a search. I have a tee before my di resin that supplies RO to a kitchen faucet and our fridge for ice and cold water. My Gal actually thought I installed the unit for her because she hates our tap water lol
You are correct, the red should be on top.It looks like to me your auto shut off valve is hooked up backwards.
The low pressure side should be in the side with the screwheads.
Bottoms up, we may have solved this mystery! You are correct, the red should be on top.
I thought about doing something like this but didnt know it was that easy lol. I had an extra RO Unit so i just hooked it up as a stand alone so i can keep that separate. However, with my smart buddie booster pump (which does shut of the valve) this would actually make alot more sense than doing it the way I am. I just figured id reduce tds creep by doing it my way but i think that only applies when filling my 100 gallons of saltwater every 2 weeks, in which i can easily just run a few gallons before filling the container. Due to my low pressure problems and having to continuously fill containers and worry about that I may just do this eventually.Just throwing this out there in case it pops up in a search. Just a tee before the di resin and then a check valve so the water can't back flow from the pressure tank. We've been running this way for several years.I thought about doing something like this but didnt know it was that easy lol. my setup is pretty annoying especially since we dont drink as much water as the tank needs so I wish i had just thought about this better.
