I use @Glue Masters products

They have from very thin (what I use with sand to make an awesome bond) to the thick stuff that works great for frags, stuff you need a little more cure time or to sit there and not seep into nooks and crannies.

really simple way to go about it. And the joints set in seconds. After it sets the joint is actually more durable than the rock itself.

I used this method, it really works on small pieces and the bond is very strong. This makes intricate shapes possible.
