Hi,

I am kinda struggling with this Algae, Brown Hair? Diatom?
My nitrates are below 5ppm (Salifert Test) and Phos at 0ppm (as per Hana Test)

My tank is 23G Tank
- I use Seachem Purigen (100ml)
- Also 2 Tsp of Rowaphos
*All of these were added 1 week ago, and picture was taken after 1 week.

I feed once a day (roughly half cube or less)

How do I get rid of this Algae? Would it go all on its own? Or do I need to manually pluck them out.
I tried to remove with a brush, but they are very stubborn, and doesn't remove easily.
Before adding purigen and rowaphos about 1 week ago, my glass also had algae, but thats almost gone now, its just the rocks one I am worried about, and the ones over the corals.

Advice will be highly appreciated.

Nice tank, if you have algae, your phosphates may be higher than you think, the algae just is using it.

So how do I reduce Phos?
Biophos 80 works well.i have same algae at the moment.unsure of correct name for it.toothbrush & siphon.it sticks to the rock as you say so removal is laborious
