I'm looking for an ID on this algae in one of my tanks. It's been in the tank a while (6 months or so) all over the rockwork, dark and lit areas. I've been making sure my nitrate and phosphate are low (~5ppm Salifert and ~0.05 ppm Hanna ULR respectively) and stable for months. So far, this has not helped and in fact has seemed to have little to no effect. I also tried brushing off as much as possible with a toothbrush while keeping nitrate and phosphate low, and it came back strong within a few weeks. Anyone seen this stuff before?

Other parameters: Alk ~9 dkH, Calcium ~ 430 ppm, Mag ~ 1360 ppm, pH stable ~ 8.3, salinity ~ 35 ppt

Many say aptasia x work on them but I have doubts
The idea us to starve them by Not allowing food to reach them.
How? By directing water flow towards them and not at them preventing food sources to arrive in their area.
Flocobenzanol will work but it’s strong stuff
