Greetimgs all. I'm back in the hobby after a 7yr break/relocation. When I took my 90gallon I knew eventually I would come back. And here I am.

I started a 46 bowfront last year. But it was a very rocky start. I had heavy travel for work. Everytime I left something would happen and crash. One upside to the Rona in my world 2 of the 4 restaurants I am a chef for shut down and I have had plenty of time to dedicate to my tank and get things back on track.

The major drag with the 46 is the sump I have had to go in lengthwise and was a major pain to service. I ended up finding a 55 gallon on FB with stand and canopy that my wife and I refinished.

So the current set up equipment....
Euro Reef RS80 Skimmer
Remote DSB with Chaeto
Sump is very low key DIY
150watt heater

Display is run by 2x Kessil A360x plus the wifi set up (which is totally bad a** that you can run the lights on your phone)

My orginal gen Vortech MP40W
Plus an old Rio convert wave maker

Planned upgrades

1 gyre pump. Haven't settled on which.
The kessil fuge light so I can link everyone.
Ecotech's Vectra return pump
DC Skimmer (maybe reef octo?)
Alex reef controller maybe?
I still have my kalkstirrer but i think i want a calcium reactor
Trigger systems sump once the wife and I can agree upon final tank size.

We are planning a reef tank/fireplace/TV unit for the living room to retire on. I want 150 she's thinking another 90 so I'm thinking 120 compromise?

Anyways I am super excited to be back and totally blown away by the advancements the hobby has made since I have been gone. It's going to be a lot of fun again.

Build picks coming shortly
