Hi Everyone,

I thought it would be fun to post the progress of this hammer I was given, it has lost a lot of color and has receded skin. Also feel free to post your own success stories and photos of LPS you have nursed back to health, maybe it will give some hope to those who struggle and may feel their corals can't come back from a bad situation.

Got this from a LFS in December 2019 bleached (almost completely white):

6 Months Later (Red eyes and neon green!):

Kept it about 18 inches from the surface, estimating ~200 PAR. Did not feed it (or do anything at all really), made it's recovery from only lights and stable parameters :p !

Thanks for looking!

It's been a while since I posted tank went through rough times and the hammer looked like this for much of the trouble. This is a shot in my new system and it is slightly improved but was still struggling. I decided to try and start feeding it and raising my phosphate.

Fast forward a month of feeding and available phosphate in the water and this is what I have. You can see it's the same perspective and angle of shot. I'm amazed.
