Buying a used NUVO 25 AIO tank, they said the return pump is kind of old so it might have to be replaced.

So a couple of questions
1. What return pump is cheap enough for me to go with a used tank instead of buying one that is brand new for $300 (used one is $150)
2. What filtration is needed to go into the chambers in the back of the tank?
3. What do I use to clean and sanitize a used tank?
4. Will 2 Nicrew 50 watt lights be enough to light the tank and grow easy sps?
5. Will I need 2 wavemakers in my tank to create enough flow? (Currently have Jebao SW4)

$30 will buy you a good dc pump for that tank

vinegar or citric acid.

can’t help with the light.

1 or 2 will do unless you go sps dominate, then 2.

1. Sicce 1.0 or 1.5
2. Your call. Could be as simple as filter floss and some carbon. But some people run nano skimmers and refugiums.
3. Ideally, fill it up and run it with citric acid overnight, that should loosen things up. Scrape as needed.
4. Probably better for LPS and softies, but I'm not familiar with the light.
5. 1x SW4 will be plenty.

You could try Sicce 1.0 some say they are silent, I never found that, for a dc pump the jecod 1200, those are cheap options, you could spend more but if those work for you then why spend more.

I'm running the Sicce 1.0 with a Jaebo SLW-20 at less than 50% with mostly LPS and zoas.

Yes. I wouldn't recommend it if it didn't ;)

My preference was actually a Cobalt MJ1200, but I couldn't find one quick enough.

I have heard good things about the Hydor Seltz D 500 DC pump and its less than $100 right now. Marine Depot

that looks nearly identical to my jecod, the price was a lot less than $100.

OP you could try a cheap option, and if it doesn’t work out use it for mixing salt, then go for a more expensive choice.

Measure the chamber width before you buy the pump. I think it is 2.8" wide on that tank.
